Competition Dates
All fees must be paid at the time of registration.
No refunds will be given after March 27th.
Driver cancelations can be made before March 27th, minus a $30 fee per driver
Deadlines & Punctuality
All participating companies, managers, and contestants must meet required deadlines and be prompt for all events. Failure to meet the deadlines and/or tardiness may result in disqualification.
Hotel Information
You agree to the following when you enter drivers into the 2024 GA Truck Driving Championship and make a reservation in our group block:
- All rooms are subject to the approval of GMTA, and priority will be given to registered Drivers and then Registered Volunteers.
- All room reservations must be confirmed with names by March 27th.
- Rooms reserved and returned to the block after March 27th will be subject to a per room per night fee from GMTA.

Facts For Drivers
This is the study guide for the written exam and the driving competition. Facts for Drivers books are not provided by GMTA and can be purchased from ATA.
Volunteers
We invite everyone attending the TDC from any company to volunteer. We cannot have a successful TDC without Volunteers. Click here to sign up!

Closed Course
No one is allowed in the TDC Course area, Grand Hall Lot or Pavilion unless it is during the hours of the competition. Anyone found in the restricted areas before or after hours will be subject to disqualification of themselves and/or their company. This includes drivers, spouses, children, friends, company officials or anyone who should not be in the competition area.
Running Order
A running order will be posted in the lobby of the hotel on Wednesday. If possible a running order will be made available online.
Onsite Registration
Thursday at 7:00 am is Rookie orientation and registration in the Veranda Room. This orientation is ONLY for rookies.
Thursday at 7:10 am Driver Registration & Check-In @ the Legacy Lodge Blue Ridge Ballroom, drivers who are absent for registration will be subject to disqualification. We will not register drivers before 7:10 unless they are rookies and attending the rookie orientation. DO NOT COME TO THE BALL ROOM AREA PRIOR TO 7:10 unless you are attending rookie orientation.
Rookie Drivers will check in and receive their registration packet at rookie orientation.
You will be given a badge at registration. You must wear it during the competition.
Driver & Rookie Orientations
All drivers must be present for orientation.
There will be a mandatory orientation Thursday for our competitors that are joining us for the first time. You will get to know the other competitors, the committee, and GMTA Staff and learn more about what your time at the GA TDC will look like.
Family Information
We want to keep the competition family-friendly however, children should not be riding skateboards, throwing balls or doing anything around the course that may compromise their safety or distract the competitors. Please advise the families with children to monitor their activity around the course.
Parking
There will be no parking at the Grand Hall. There will be a shuttle at the hotel that will bring you to the Grand Hall. If you choose to drive, parking is available only in the water park parking lot to the right of the entrance to Grand Hall. Follow the signs, and please park in the assigned areas.
Dinner & Ceremony Information
If you are joining us for the Friday evening dinner, it begins at 5:30 pm on Friday, May 10th at Peachtree Point Pavillion.
The 2024 Awards ceremony will be held at the Peachtree Point Amphitheatre @ 7:00 pm and is open to all friends and family of the drivers.
